Phil and I were able to go away last week. We stayed at a beautiful bed and breakfast in Leavenworth, WA, for the first couple of days. The rooms were so cozy with lots of great amenities like bikes, backpacks, coffee makers that grind coffee beans before each brew and old typewriters.
We spent the rest of the week in Seattle enjoying beautiful sunny weather, the U District, Mars Hill Church, IKEA, The Melting Pot, coffee and holding hands.
Sounds like a great time! We love B & B 's, too! I'm envious that you got to go to Mars Hill - we're faithful online listeners, and are eagerly awaiting the new series on Luke.
I have twins as well. Mine are nineteen and in their second year of college. I am in a hurry here but read a few of your blogs and really enjoyed it, very creative and fun. I to am from the Seattle area Blessings on ya =O)
We've stayed in 3 different rooms, all with their own uniqueness. I have to say my favorite would be Up the Creek, it being our first time there and the heated tile floors in the bathroom! My husband even bought me two leather chairs with one foot rest, to be arranged facing each other, with footrest in between to be shared, in our room, just like the ones in the rooms there. Love the food...amazing! The hiking/scenery around Icicle Valley is stunning...ran into a momma and baby black bear, 30 feet away, one time. Lots of wonderful romantic memories there.
Lord, you have assigned me my portion and my cup; you have made my lot secure. The boundary lines have fallen for me in pleasant places. Surely I have a delightful inheritance. Psalm 16:5-6
