I made oatmeal for breakfast
I watched The Sound of Music with my kids
I made green pancakes for lunch
I snacked on homemade peanut butter cookies
I drank loose leaf tea--a new favorite of mine
I folded laundry with my daughter
I read Psalm 100
I organized the playroom
I ordered take out pizza for dinner
I read a chapter from Farmer Boy to the kids before their bedtime

Ahhh, I love Laura...and Ma, Pa, Mary, all of them really. Are you reading Farmer Boy by yourself or to your kids? I started reading the series with my kids about a year (?) ago. We're on the second to last book and I find that I'm dragging it out because I don't want it to end. *sigh*
Sounds like a wonderful day (and you got laundry done ta-boot!).
I'm reading The Little House series to my kids before bedtime. We've read the other 8 and we're finishing up the series with Farmer Boy.
I save Farmer Boy for last because I don't want to interrupt the storyline of the Ingalls family. My kids are excited to read about Almanzo Wilder's childhood now that they "know" him.
Today, after a day of reflection, I:
purposed to study the book of Esther
made something for dinner that until know daunted me
beseeched God once again for Grace for something that is just so hard to do
It sounds like a lovely day!
A happy day full of many of my favorite things.
What a lovely day!! Can't wait until my oldest will sit still long enough for me to read aloud - without pictures. ;)
Jenny, the kids and I are on the last two pages of Little House in the Big Woods. I love that my 4 1/2 year old (girl) and 2 1/2 year old (boy) will sit and listen to the story. Abram even pointed out today that the house is made of yincoln yogs yike ours. :)
