Autumn Decor around the House

Don't laugh...yes, that is a dryer hose painted orange and yellow, but it makes a great kids craft and an adorable pumpkin!

My husband brought these flowers home last week. The bowls are for serving up yummy pumpkin soup.

I love to place little pumpkins around the house. That splash of bright orange makes me feel so happy.

I also add leaf garland to railings, mirrors and mantles.

Very creative with the pumpkin dryer hose! Pumpkins just seem to make me happy too. I guess that's why it always looks like autumn in our house. But I don't have my own dryer hose yet ;)

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I have always wondered what those pumpkin bowls were for- besides putting candy in them- but how perfect to serve pumpkin soup in them. I love your skinny pumpkin on top of your books.

Sorry, I commented earlier, but your dryer hose pumpkin is genius! (I think I have found a use for mine, it's a little bent...) :-)

I can't take credit for that great dryer hose pumpkin. It was made 10 years ago by a very talented mom who would come do crafts once a week at the school where I taught.
