Great Grandma's Vintage Floursack Towels

Awhile ago my mom sent me my Great Grandma's apron. I just received her vintage floursack towels in the mail from my little sister!

I think this one's my favorite, since I'm partial to green and red.

I love the rick rack on this one!

Aren't they fun?

What wonderful things to have. You are so lucky that the women of your family decided to hold on to all those precious things.
You are a lucky girl!

There are darling!! And how very special that you have them for your collection!!

My grandma made my mother a set of hand towels with Clown's on them that she embroidered herself for Christmas! Mom isn't sure she wants to use them for awhile. I thought that we should try to frame a few so that we always have them!

Those are the funniest towels! Isn't it nice to have something from your Great-grandmother. I just got an apron from my mom that was made by my Great-grandmother. I'm going to use the design to sew some curtains for my kitchen. I just love that vintage look.

Oh, and I've been thinking of doing some flour sack cloths (days of the week) to give away as gifts. This vegetable thing is really funny. I might have to do a parody on it and put a little humor on my towels.
