I just can't help myself

Now that you all know I smell dryer sheets, I might as well tell you that I smell ballet slippers, too.

Actually, those of you who know me well enough know that I smell practically everything!

I've noticed that one of my daughters is already taking after me in this quirky area.

I'm not sure if it's in the genes or if she's learned it by watching me put everything up to my nose.

It's one thing I simply can't resist.

Ballet slippers.

And they have to be pink.

Oh too funny. I won't embarrass you by listing all the things I've seen you put up to your nose :-)

Hi Jenny...I saw your post at The Best Nesst, and although we don't appear to know each other I wanted to stop over and say "hi." Your blog is oh-so-cute! We love many of the same things--especially movies, books, vintage stuff, family :)

I do the same thing, but with Juicy Fruit Gum. When my kids chew a stick they know to bring me the wrapper to sniff. Ahhhhhh, so sweet! I'm sure I look like a coke addict when sniffing an empty gum wrapper----but I don't care!

Great, now I'm gonna have to find some to smell to see what all the fuss is about ;) You must have a lot of great memories because our sense of smell is strongly linked to memories...

I stopped in occasionally here a year ago, and have just started popping in to the blogs I loved reading again. I love smelling things. Nothing better than walking in to a lovely smelling home. Or picking up that bar of Dove and smelling the clean. And my bottle of snuggle, that I save for my bedding so I go to sleep wrapped in the smell of comfort.

Bless your heart - thank you for your sweet comment yesterday! Not planning to give up blogging ~ Lord willing! It is a blessing to me to have an outlet to share and to be blessed by the friendships of so many beautiful women!

Blessings on your day,
Monica
