Vintage Valentines

For those of you who love vintage style, do you ever want to kick yourself when you realize that you used to own many of the things you look for in antique stores today? I was only 8 at the time, but oh, how I wish I would have saved a few of my Strawberry Shortcake valentines!

They look so sweet in my kitchen.

So true... I didn't think I'd be so young and see my childhood favorites in an antique store! (I always think of you when I see Strawberry Shortcake.) And we're nowhere near being antiques yet ;)

I miss old-school Strawberry Shortcake! I still own an Apricot doll that, when you squeeze her stomach, she releases apricot scented air from her mouth. I wish I still had my old Strawberry Shortcake stuff!

I loved Strawberry Shortcake! I think I had those valentines also! I still have my set...couldn't bear to part with it...even after five boys didn't want to play!

Oh, they are sweet! I wish I still had my old, metal Strawberry Shortcake lunchbox. When I was five I was SOOOOO proud of it!

I adore vintage Strawberry Shortcake! I have a Strawberry Shortcake umbrella that I was given when I was little. I still love it!

When I was a little girl, my grandma took those Valentines and cut out the shapes, she glued them inside a picture frame (with felt on the back!) I still have those picture frames 20 something years later!
